What used to get me weepy was Barber's Adagio for Strings, reference that scene in Platoon.

Alas some goon made it into a dance track and it doesn't have the same impact anymore.

Sorry your ex has passed.

For me, it's a song by Madonna called "love tried to welcome me" (off of the Bedtime stories album).

It's OK! I'm ultra emotional too! Sometimes on a scale you would not believe!

Of course, complete with Jazz Hands.. S Club was different, it had something likeable about it... her name was Rachel.

S Club 7 actually made some not bad pop songs, same with Baby One More Time by Britney (though none of her subsequent records were any good). Rachel was indeed the best one from S Club.

For various reasons:
Follow Me - Uncle Kracker
most of the Book of Shadows album by Zakk Wylde
Everlong - Foo Fighters
and tons of others. Depending on the time of the month, almost anything can start me off!

west side story has always done it for me. i even have a cd of the music that i dig out and play loudly when i'm feeling particularly overwrought. I've never known why this is, but it seems to cause confusion for anyone who happens to be around at the time.

Well they were all sorta actors when they were in the band too... anyone remember Miami 7?
I'm not gonna say they were GOOD actors though.

They were better than some examples of pop like those I mentioned above and the S Club spinoff bands.
