It's something to do with the colour and the smell. When i see it i actually shake and feel sick. Perhaps i had a bad experience with it in the past or something.

Or maybe your subconscious mind is associating the look and smell of it with something else which has scared you? Its a funny one, but at least beetroot is relatively easy to avoid - I mean, you could be scared of bread, or chairs or something.

Like out of the blokbuster "Twister" with the guy from Jurassic Park in it?

Sounds exciting!

Noooo - its lovely in a salad! Much nicer than that pickled guff that stains everything purple.

Do what Yuds said.

This is not invariably good advice. But on the subject of beetroot I am reliable.

There was someone from Jurassic Park in that? I remember Helen Hunt and Cary Elwes, the guy who played Jerry in Liar Liar.

It made me laugh how their car only got damaged toward the end despite the battering it took throughout the film.

I've thought of more things:-

1. I can't count very well, and sometimes see figures round the wrong way - e.g. 1134 - I would perhaps see as 1143.
2. I had to sit my Arithmetic 'o' grade twice.
3. My mathematics teacher threatened to throw me out the class :-(
4. I was wild as a teenager, and once got thrown out my local swimming pool for starting a food battle in the canteen section.
5. I'm not very logical / analytical, but would love to be.

If you need help with the Spanish, ask me! :-) I did it quite recently, and found it quite easy.

My mum is learning Italian (I believe so she can some day retire out there), so it must be pretty easy.

All the holiday places are booked up quickly in Italy aren't they, I practically live off italian food most days anyway so theres no need for me to go over there again. And anyway that Pavorotti doesn't like it when you join in when hes singing apparently.

I won't give you any abuse for that Yudster, though it's certainly not music I enjoy listening to anyway.
