Was wondering what MOVIES you would class as your top 3, or 4, or whatever that you have seen to date? And, if you choose, why?

Mine are:

1. Serendipity.
2. Desperately Seeking Susan.
3. Ghost.
4. The Double Life of Veronica: (This one is a beautiful movie about 2 females, one born in Poland, one born in France, who are unrelated, yet look exactly
the same. Both are somehow aware that they are connected in some way, yet have never, or ever will, meet. At the end, you are left to make up your
own mind as to whether it was all some bizarre co-incidence, or whether it had all been more than that!!). :D

If I had a top-list of films, those would definitely be in it.

This one, not so much. It's an ok film, I just wouldn't have it in a top-list.

Of the top of my head, I would probably also have 'Good Will Hunting', 'V For Vendetta' and 'The Cube' as a low-budget classic.

I'm not a massive cinema fan, but my favourites would include Wayne's World (never fails to make me laugh no matter how many times I watch it), Trainspotting and Easy Rider.

The Dish
Meet Me In St Louis
Victim
Papa Nostalgie
Postcards From The Edge

And a whole load of others. In no particular order.

I find it extremely hard to pick just a few, but Ghostbusters, Rocky, Full Metal Jacket, Bad Taste and Ocean's 11 are definately up there. I could seriously go on all day listing great films.

I forgot Betty Blue! that's another great one, yuds! The first time I ever saw that, I didn't like it! Then when I saw it again years later, I did! I think I wasn't old enough, or something, first time around. :-)

(just realised I could copy/paste this from my Myspace thingy)
You could say I watch the odd movie now and then... so here's some examples;
Spiderman Trilogy, 28 Weeks Later, Saw Trilogy, Ring Trilogy (japanese versions), The Grudge (again, has to be the japanese one, not the one with Buffy the Bimbo Slayer in it), 28 Days Later, V for Vendetta, Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy, Ghostbusters, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, Falling Down, Mean Machine, Team America: World Police, Shaun of the Dead, American Pie trilogy (though Band Camp is a pile of crap in comparison) Trainspotting, The Matrix, Short Circuit, Blade Trilogy, Donnie Darko, Dogma, Clerks, Clerks 2, Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats, The Fast and The Furious, Rollerball, X-Men, Xmen 2, Bad Taste, Fight Club, The Mummy, The Jackal, Face/Off, Full Metal Jacket, Tenacious D in the Pick Of Destiny, Ocean's 11 (both versions), Ocean's 12 (and Ocean's 13 looks like it'll raise the bar again), Ghost In The Shell, Casino Royale, Blackball, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, A Few Good Men....
