Charla, I was never wanting to argue with him. I like him a lot. It probably doesn't look that way, but it's true. It's just when I make an effort to start stuff, which some people actually like, it gets shot down in flames.... whereas Gaspode, and others too, do equally silly, random topics, yet no-one really says anything. I DO have a point, I feel.

I have no issue with people arguing. It just gets a bit tedious when both parties are insistent on having the last word.

And that is because both parties like to think they're always right, this is where the "problems" (if you would call them that) appear !

uh huh, but a sensible discussion in which both parties think they are correct would result in one or both parties saying "I disagree with what you are saying but we have both put forward a sensible arguement. Since it is unlikely that we will ever agree, we might as well agree to differ here."

No, the point of this one is to limit your and Consoles (and other's) annoying arguments in one place so you don't wreck the rest of the boards for everyone else. I know you don't mean to do it Viv (although I do think Console sometimes engages on purpose), and to an extent I know why it happens, but it is annoying.
