Seeing as no-one seems to be able to create anything so far, I am replying to my own thread. I have thought of something I would like to see.... this is .... Vending Machines on trains! Thus a person (me) is able to avoid the balancing act of trying to board public transport with a) a bag b) an umbrella c) radio in ears d) coffee.

How is a vending machine on a train an invention? It's just a reapplication on an old invention. Also, what does having a bag, umbrella and radio have to do with a vending machine?

well, there aren't these machines on trains, so it is kind of an invention.

The bag, umbrella, radio thing.... when you add coffee to this situation, it can all get a bit too much : as in, this morning, when I almost knocked coffee over myself. Not having to struggle on to trains, cons., would make life that little bit simpler. There's only so many tasks the one person can do, and I'm not superwoman.

Could you not just put your umbrella in your bag and the radio in your pocket, so as to leave only the bag and coffee to hold. Even without that logical approach, wouldn't you still have to hold all of that stuff even if you got the coffee from a vending machine on the train.
