As Gaspode is possibly the greatest animal in literature I thought I would present you people with other (non soft-arse) creatures from films that get my seal of approval:

1. That dog/dragon sort of thing from The Never Ending Story - just ace!

2. The gremlin with the Mohawk (Stripe?) he was evil.

3. Gollum - crap film, good creature.

4. The Ewoks - funny looking vicious bears.

5. The Mouse from The Green Mile.

I too like the Hope Dragon and Stripe! The Ewok's are fabulous - I know one of them personally.

Can Gollum be classed as an animal? He is a sorta very very old hobbit thing isnt he?

Foots don't mean to be a pedant but Gollum may well be a 'hobbit thing' but - and I hate to break this to you - Hobbits are not human hun and are therefore, creatures in the way Gaspode means

Petes Dragon is one of those films that I loved back then but its disturbing to see now.

I just found out that eddie's real name was Moose and that he died in June 06, aged 16. Gutted!
