Tripe. I had a boyfriend one who used to love it. It is the most disgusting, horrible thing ever.

Well, all meat and dairy obviously. But that's kinda different. I hate mushrooms with a passion, always have. can't think of any others. outside of veganism, I have pretty varied tastes.

Mrs Topher has tried kangaroo steak, she liked it, I'd love to give it a go.

We have a Mongolian restaurant near here which serves kangaroo, boar, crocodile, zebra etc etc. It was a good night and the food was cracking, but i'm not convinced that Mongolia is infested with any of those animals!

I've been to a Mongolian restaurant before, I'm not sure it's there any more but it was damn nice. It was one of those places where you choose your raw food, put it all in a dish and give it to the chef who cooks it in front of you. Luckily, they still have a bar like that at Elements, which is a Chinese in Milton Keynes.

yup, same idea that Im talking about. We went for my birthday but I made sure that I didnt tell the restaurant why we were there. However, one of my friends did so they made a bit of a fuss about it all and appeared with a throne, cloak and a crown - they made me look like a Mongolian King for the night.

I wasn't impressed. Got a free shot of vodka out it all though so not all bad.

You were lucky, if your mates had told them a bit more about you, they could have made you up to be a Mongolian Queen.

I had an ostrich burger once. It was lovely, tasted like rib-eye steak, really juicy.

Have you ever had tinned potatoes? Its the only thing I have ever had which managed to be both gritty and slimy all at the same time.
#302759
no, though i saw them at the shop last night when i bought a tin of beans. i thought, "the only thing in a tin i won't eat." then remember i despise tinned grean beans, tinned peas, beeets, pretty much everything but beans and corn.
