and because of this loads of people are calling her all sorts of names. why? she was 18 at the time and she clearly wasnt forced into this, so why all the up raor? because shes millions of kids idol? probably! but it not un-common for women to do this!(and by the way im a man!)

I think the 'shock' (though I wouldn't use the word 'shock' personally) is mainly because this is a 'celebrity' (though that word is normally used sparingly too) who is supposedly the innocent, butter-wouldn't-melt type is caught doing something that society considers taboo. The 'shock' is magnified further when it turns out the person in question is involved in kids TV or anything else to do with kids.
