If you take a look at this post: -

...it'll show you how to make the page give out the links instead of playing them in the flash player. With the links you should be able to download them, either by clicking on them normally if you have a sane browser setup, or by right clicking on them and 'Save Target As'/'Save Link As'/etc to download them.

I'll stick by my "copy and paste" method if you dont follow the javascript thing - clear your temp internet files then when you play the songs on the music 4 site, they will appear there.

That method will only work with IE though, as other browsers don't store their cache files in a directory, but in a single file.

Fair enough.

I've tried the javascript thing and I may be doing something daft, but i'm not getting anywhere.

That said - i dont need it to work.

Just out a matter of interest, what browser is it you use and why?

Some of my mates bang on about firefox, but ive never felt I have had an issue with IE. That said, I tried the new IE with the tabs and that irritated me so I switched back to IE 6.

I use Firefox, mainly, because of the extensions. I like the ability to customise not just the look, but the operation of the browser and the features it has. IE's 'Javascript' (they don't actually have Javascript), DOM and CSS support is really annoying, and the security vulnerabilities with in it and ActiveX, especially considering Windows' other security problems, make it a minefield full of viruses and spyware.

Tabs are also a nice feature, that IE was late to the game with (and still screwed it up), although pretty much every graphical browser has them now.

Firefox also has the advantage of being multi-platform, so my web-browsing experience can be the same no matter what OS I'm on.

I might give it a whirl at some point. I dont see the need for tabs. I understand the point is to give you more space along your taskbar, but as I see it, all you are really doing is moving the problem from the taskbar to the tabs menu instead.

I don't tend to faff about with different OS. Windows might not be perfect, but it does the job for me.

That's not the point of having a tabbed interface; the main reason is to give a more logical layout for multiple pages, but it also results in a smaller memory footprint and doesn't tax the CPU as much. It makes it far easier to switch through multiple pages when using a tabbed interface when compared to switching through multiple windows.
