You are all wrong. It is expensive, yes, but they are lovely. It's worth the price.

Like I say, it could be just the ones round here then, but Greggs is superior as far as Nottingham goes.

Topher wrote:Lion bars are OK, but Toffee Crisp are better. Bounty is terrible (as is anything with coconut or coconut flavouring in), Milky Ways are nice and Cadbury's Caramel is nice, but I had too much of it in the past and got a bit fed up with it.

I was actually meaning toffee crisp. Im not a huge supporter of lion bars.

Topher wrote:It's really not. Subway is more healthy than, say, KFC or McDonalds.

Having a double decker bus bounced off your groin is probably more healthy than a KFC or McDonalds! And they are not "lovely". Bounty are "lovely". And I dont mean the kitchen towels with the gender-challenged men/women.

foot-loose wrote:Can I take this oppertunity to mention Gold bars? They were brilliant.

They were indeed.

At least we agree on something!

Greggs is far superior as far as the rest of the UK goes. Except in Scotland where we have Aulds, but we are keeping them to ourselves.

Subway is lovely. I can't eat Bounty because it's coconut. Subway, however, can be as healthy as you want it to be, you can put as much salad in as you like! You could have a salad subway if you wanted.

I've not really been in a Greggs.

There's a dead nice burger bar in Northampton called 'Up All Night' - they do a blinding chicken burger with cheese and mayo.

They bake their own cookies and doughnuts too. The one near me has all the bakery stuff just behind the counter; the smell is awesome.

You are correct on all the chocolate except Peanut Chunky Kit Kat and Mars being best chocolate bar.. I don't know what it is about Mars, I can only manage about a mouthful before I really can't be arsed to finish it off.

I had a chunky kit kat a couple of weeks ago- I was drunk in a petrol station - twas alright, but im not a huge supporter of chocolate bars (i'm not sure what it's officially classed as, but it felt like a chocolate bar). Just tasted like a bigger kit kat except I had to open my mouth wider to get it in.

Peanut chunky kit kats sound intreguing. I may eat one next time I am drunk in a petrol station.

McDonalds breakfasts are strange creations - you look forward to it until you eat it then you realise its much worse than you remember. Plus it does strange and exciting things to my digestive system.

I know what topher means about not being bothered to finish a mars bar - too much effort.

After my spectacular (and traditional) Christmas Day lapse (which ended well....!), I'm back on medication which shouldn't be mixed with alcohol - so I'll have a large pineapple juice please!
