Jose will be well away from the Premiership if he has any sense. Maybe for the Portugal job. Scolari seems to be losing it a bit and he's been banned from the next few matches for being a dick.

He will be in the Portugal job before Drogba is fit.

I don' think the Premiership will be duller without him. It will be less annoying, less frustrating and less prone to make me want to spit in someone's face and smack their head against the nearest hard surface in order to see if an ounce of reality might possibly be knocked into it anywhere near as often as I have wanted, but it won't be less dull.

Mourinho was fun for a bit as Wenger was getting boring and Fergie had someone new to annoy him but everyone gets boring after a while.

It would have been better if Fergie and Mourinho had detested each other like Fergie and Wenger do, but they get on very well apparently. Dull.

I am absolutely gutted, obviously from a Chelsea point of view, its been lovely to have season where we can go into matches against Man Utd and Arsenal and think well we can beat them not maybe beat them and despite the many comments people have made about the only reason he's been as successful as he has was because of the money he had available, I still believe there is no denying that he was the Special One and he will be sorely missed. The premiership is going to be a lot duller without him.

I'm sorry but "special one" my hairy arse. Tactically he wasn't anything much - when behind he often relied on moving a big defender up front and hoofing the ball at them (the various semis against Liverpool are good examples of that). The two championships were just as much to do with Utd and Arsenal dropping the ball than some managerial genius on his part. And Yudster's got it spot on about the "less interesting" cobblers that's being churned out by the media.

As for his replacement, it reeks of Abramovich appointing yes men. This is all going to end up like Moratti at Inter. A series of short term managers forced to play the owner's favourites and bend the team to accommodate players foisted upon him, then sacked after a couple of months when things inevitably go tits up.

I get a £20 bet with William Hill if I put £20 on this weeked so i have £2 on all of the below (I cant be bothered remembering the odds).

Wigan to beat Reading
Da Silva (Arsenal) First Goalscorer
25-45 points Fulham v Man City (10 points for a yellow card, 25 for a red)
Arsenal, Watford, Leyton Orient & Darlington all to win
Afridi top batsman for Pakistan
Hull to beat Sheff Weds
Chelsea to win both halves
Whittingham first goalscorer for Cardiff
Liverpool to be winning first half then draw
Lescott anytime scorer

Some are unlikely but picked for better odds... we shall see.
