One thing that I seem to remember but havent seen the sound file anywhere. Does anyone have any sound clips from a couple of years back when Chris, Dave & John Culshaw covered Dave Pearce's show. I seem to remember it involving a "mix selector" where chris was doing the mixing and John Culshaw was phoning in requesting songs on the mix selector using funny voices such as Frank Bruno and The Queen (as he does).

Thanks in advance

Oh yeah, I vaguely remember that. I think you're pushing your luck a bit there matey. It was funny at the time though, because Chris was covering for Mark and Lard as well if I remember rightly, so he did a marathon 3-8 shift. He did a similar thing one Saturday too, when he covered Emma B's shift and did a 10-3 slot. If only they'd still do things like that, those were the days....

Sorry mate I doubt if anybody will have it BUT ...
If you contact the BEEB they may still have it
somewhere on disk as they have to keep stuff
like that for legal reasons! Just depends ho badly
you need it! Hope that helps?

Oh well ...

I do remember the year it was all pre-recorded and they blatantly boasted it was pre-recorded weeks before, that was awful. No, I'm talking about the time they did a 7- or 8-hour show and got progressively drunk throughout. - jc

They did a 8 hour pre recorded show Christmas 98... bits were pre recorded and bits were live. Thats the show when they played all their parodies they had done to date.

David, exactly right. I seem to remember a live set from Norman Cook and a feature called "at home with the Westwoods." Hilarious. - jc
