I have a video of it. None of my mates remember it - they think I dreamt it.

How about Mop and Smiff? Mop was a dog, smiff was a cat - the theme tune is pretty much all i remember about it. I think it started off with a live shot of the dog, cat and their owner. Then the dog and cat would go to sleep and the owner would paint "pictures of all their dreams" which became the story. Some of that I might have made up though.

I can't find any pictures of them - google only returns four pages!

what's making me smile: nothing at the mo', but I'm getting my hair cut later (I currently look like a hedge), so that should cheer me up, I guess.

Ikea are the best damn shop in the world.

Aaaaaages ago, a bit of my bed broke (i was wrestling with a mate - the less asked the better). I've managed to hold it all together with some bolts outta B&Q but I figured enough was enough, I needed to get another frame for it, cos it was gonna collapse at some point.

So - I go into Ikea with the instruction manual (i knew there was a good reason for keeping that) and showed it to the guy at the spare parts desk - he goes away round the back and within two minutes, was back with a replacement part which i didn't have to pay for!

Now all I need to do is work out how to actually take the bed to bits and put it back together again...

Anyway, to summerise - Ikea rocks.

Or, more likely, the guy at the spare parts desk wasn't supposed to give you the parts for free, so he rocks. Or he quite 'liked' you.

You have some very weird tastes my dear, or you hang around with some very dodgy blokes.

haha, she is right - ive got curtains that are really thin, so i stuck a sleeping bag over them to keep the light out... that was three years ago now.

In a strange coincidence, I was thinking about sorting that today when I was in Ikea.

he wasnt there the second time. :(

(seriously though, what was I gonna say? "I dont know if these curtains will go with my room, why don't you come round after you're done here and tell me what you think?")
