Remember that? It was amazing (at the time, i'd imagine that it would be pretty crappy if it was shown now).

So... with Hallowe'en on its way in a few weeks time, whats the scariest thing you can think of? Do you ever have recurring nightmares? If you did, what would you hate it to be?

I saw a couple of episodes of Knightmate a few weeks back; it is pretty crappy and dated now.

This was quality at the time. Always scared the bit on the chessboard like thing and they disappeared when the knight got to them.

I always have the same nightmare that i'm shot and killed by someone but i never ever get to see there face which really bugs. At least if i knew who it was i could avoid them.

I have a very strange recurring Themed dreams....

It usually involes colapse of government or somthing along those lines....

Like if there was another outbreak of a disease and we had to fend for ourselfs, locked up in our own homes, trying to survive!
I remember once, i was living on a houseboat :? and me and my friends were really hungrey but it was unsafe to go out in public and so we really needed and we went to morrisons, and stole sherbert..because that would keep us alive.

And the idea of not knowing what is going...like in 28 Days Later, or in Shaun of the Dead, when they are looking at teh TV Channels and they all are shut down!

I always get these types of dreams and i have always wondered what they mean...

I have occasional but recurring nightmares about being back at school. Horrendous.

Me, too, Yud. Hate those!! Where I can't get my locker open or I've brought the wrong book to class or I can't even find my class. So random!!!
I'd have to say the most frightening dreams though are the ones where something horrible happens to my children. Those are the ones I can't get back to sleep after :(

Scariest thing I can think of - Having any more children/someone taking the ones I have! (I know you were thinking about ghosts and stuff Foots but other than - what Mr S4 calls comedies - Freddie Kruger films very little scares me anymore)

Nightmare - I used to have a recurring one about a talking tricycle. Also one about falling over a bannister at school but I never hit the ground (apparently if you hit the ground in dreams when you're falling you actually die - how have they proved this if so?)

I genuinely don't find films scary any more, I did when I was a kid, but horror films are often badly made and it's very easy to imagine a bloke at the end yelling "cut!"

There is one scene that repeatedly makes me jump even though I know it's coming up and that's the guy walking past as Haley Joel Osment is taking a piss in Sixth Sense.

It's only a pin prick.

Oh I get it. You want something a bit bigger.
