You don't know the half of it. Utter filth is what it is; I don't even know half of the words she used, although I'm pretty sure most of it's in French (Did you know that the French for shower, is douche?).

That said, what makes you think the PM's were to me?

I'm trying to work out if that makes Console really innocent (naive) or if it makes Viv really....

Just remember one mans's filth is another man's gold.

If I believed in a sixth sense, thats what I would say.

I don't though, so I won't.

Actually I might believe in a sixth sense now that I think about it... ach - i'm gonna go lie down now.

I don't think I've managed to meet anyone who agrees on me finding a traffic jam at night pretty but it's quite strange to see a long red line of lights to be surrounded by complete darkness.

We tried to take a picture of one in Mexico (trust me, it was different to a UK traffic jam in darkness), I do know what you mean.

when i was a kid, i used to love seeing the stream of lights on highway 50 going up to the sierra foothils- a nice red and white ribbon. i still love seeing lights like that.

I know they say Manga films are very 'Marmite', but give a Studio Gibli film a try sometime. They are very imaginative, very witty and utterly beautiful. I find them really absorbing, and you can just loose yourself in the film. That doesn't happen alot nowadays I've found, where you get sucked in to the story line, (which usually involves people getting turned into pigs, or a nasty Demon appearing to ruin the land).
Everyone goes on about Spirited Away being the best, and it is very very good, but try Howls Moving Castle, or, my personal favourite, Porco Rosso (The Crimson Pig). Princess Monokie is good, but a little more adult than the rest. I wouldn't recommend that as your first introduction to Gibli.

Console mentioned Firefly and Serenity earlier on, and Yes, a thousand times yes! If you like your all out sci-fi and appreciate witty dialog and laugh out loud moments, do it now! You can get the whole series boxset for about £17 in HMV at the moment.

Also, if you liked Shaun of the dead and Hot Fuzz, try the TV series 'Spaced'. One of the best TV shows ever. Just pure genius. Filled with loads of geeky references and nods to films.

Also, try Black Books, again one of the funniest Sit-coms (is it a sit com? cause that makes it sound something like 'My Family', or the 'My Hero', but it really isn't') of all time. Just watch it. Now.

It is fabulous (something I was trying (successfully) to explain to 'CoatMyGet' a little earlier). On Amazon, you can get both the complete Firefly series and Serenity for less than £16. You could probably get it even cheaper if you looked around a bit.

Spaced was one of those all-to-rare comedies that actually makes me laugh every time I watch it. The commentary on the DVD is also very amusing and well worth listening too.

It is a Sit-Com, but, unlike 'My Family' and 'My Hero', it's actually funny.

I actually like My Family and My Hero. The earlier ones of both, anyway. It got a bit silly when James Dreyfus pretended to be Ardal O'Hanlon, or when the Harper family started to grow without giving birth (where did Abby come from? I never saw the episode where she came in.)

I've seen clips of Black Books, though, and it does look very good. I may have to invest in the boxset at some point.

I love seeing buildings lit up at night. Edinburgh has some cracking sights at night. Last week, at about two in the morning, I drove round a corner and saw Edinburgh Castle from an angle I hadn't seen it before - it looked amazing.

'My Family' is worth a giggle on UKTV - I wouldn't pay for the DVD though. Is 'My Hero' that thing with Dougle outta Father Ted? If so, I've only seen a small amount of it, but it never made me laugh.

I had series two of black books on again last night. Tis a good watch.

As heard on Tedious Link recently - she warbles a bit on Temple of Love by Sisters of Mercy :D

Place-wise I can't recommend the Victoria Falls enough. Even if you go in dry season it's spectacular as you can pretty much hop from rock to rock across half of the Zambezi although it's best to ignore the 100m drop to your left as you do it if you don't like heights.

Film-wise : Dark City, a wonderfully dark, gothic tale and it has the lovel Jennifer Connely in it.

I've been getting up at 4am to go to work this week, walking through Manchester has been peaceful, a dis-used city which seemed like I'd never been there before, a theme-park shut for the night. Saw a fox on my way too.

My Family was worth a giggle for a bit, the bloke who played Ben Harper's son used to make me laugh with his deadpan meh humour and then he went and ruined it, comedy award an all, by starring in those BT adverts.

As for what might you be missing - Charlie Brooker - Hidden away on BBC4, has a show on Tuesday nights called Screenwipe, its the funniest thing, his columns are alright too. Scathing, with ruthless merciless honesty. Heres typical Charlie - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6otmL8pvTGY
