I'm bored of reading what's annoying people. I want to read peoples lyrics, poems, stories or look at drawings or paintings.
I am drunk but i will start with a poem.

We shouldve tried harder in every way
To preserve
What we both deserve
The ever lasting love with legs of steel
But with too much time
We lost the rhyme
And now we both limp apart
Wounded
So grey outside and it feels like suddenly
Ive never been alone before
Ill try not to let the silence swallow me
Ill try not to let the distance hollow me
If you promise to follow me
Still

i think i am too tired all the time to be really creative. i'm supposed to record another single, but i can't write songs for the life of me. you'd think, cacner would give me some material but that hasn't been the case.

Sorry Cat I'll think of something creative when I'm feeling better, in the meantime pathetic purile humour is all you can expect I'm afraid.

**Looks for Footy to bring some creativity to Cat's thread**

I like the "formality" of some of the speech, it makes for an interesting read. Do people really say "rudimentary"?

Not sure how to spell plane, so let's try both ways.

All in all, I say B-. Good effort, but needs tidying up.

Yeah, I was being lazy and not defining strict personality profiles for the characters.

Evidently.

I'll contribute to your cultural offering Cat -

a Very old sketch I did about 10 years ago -

A not-so-old sketch (this one's more 'me'...). The brief for this was to take a concept of a children's TV charcter and put your own spin on it. I chose Zoomer from Chorlton and the Wheelies.-

I wouldn't mind being able to draw like that. I'm trying to make a storybook for my daughter at the moment, but the illustrations are turning out to be a right arse. Lends character i suppose.

Why should I bother proof reading it when other will do it for me? Besides, I only wrote it for this thread, so a few errors here and there are fine. Thanks for the praise though.

I can't claim any drawings for myself, but the following is by a friend of mine, who is an excellent artist. This painting was done in 2002 time, when he was about 16; since then he has greatly improved.

The painting is of Jan-Ove Waldner, a Swedish table tennis player, considered by some to be one of the best players ever. Unfortunately I've not been able to find an image of the poster that this particular painting was based on, but it was spot on - the style and everything.

He now does paintings that it's extremely hard to tell whether or not they are photos.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jh ... ait127.xml - he did the naked girl (it's work safe) and came third.

http://www.johanandersson.co.uk/gallery.html - it's worth waiting for the gallery to load, although unfortunately he doesn't seem to have put any of his famous face portraits up.

He is brilliant though. I'm biased because I know him, but I'm always honest about things like that, I wouldn't say he's good if I didn't think that.

Yeah, I think it's pretty amazing as well, getting the reflection and everything.

I prefer the old man though.

I liked the "wee nip" section, which turned into 12 bottles, I believe!! This made me spit a glass of water out! :-)
