Just something i was thinking about....

Winter I love Winter

I like it because its cold and you can wrap yourself up in a big blanket with your Mr. or Mrs with a nice cup of Hot Chocolate some biscuits and a Nice DVD,

Its Novemeber, And its bonfire night..Its usually time to get out your Gloves, Scarfs and Woolie Bobble Hats, to can make your way down to the local Fireworks Display.
Children playin with sparklers and eat Toffee Apples, Its nice and Cold and you wrap up warm, Huddle together and watch the pretty Dancing Lights in the Sky to the sounds or OOOO and ARRRRR,

And then you will be walking down the streets and notice pretty lights twinkleing in the windows, and walking down the High street it is getting busier people rushing around with bag full of gifts from santa, Stores are full of little Kinck Knacks for the Stockings, and TV is starting to get ready for all there big story lines.

While I think Christmas has become less about what it started out as, I still think it is a unique day, as Families still tend to come together...And its a day when You dicide to get out the Games from the dusty top cupboard...even though all year round they hardly get used because they will more than likely end up across the room in a heep on the floor!

Random i felt a bit like going on....

But when is your Fav time of Year and why do you like it..

I like summer, just cos you see loads of fit girls wearing next to nothing walking down the street. Even if you do have to put up with some munters in skin tight lycra waddling down the same street, the fitties make it worth while.

It wasn't a hot Summer anyway, no wonder we're leaning more to Winter for thrills.

So the fact that this summer wasn't hot is a reason for them preferring winter? Don't talk shite.

I like winter because of winter, Summer can be hot cold or sky blue purple and i would still dislike the months around that time!

i would have to say autumn or early spring. right now it's been grey and drizzly all week, which is quite nice. (though not helping the juice fast.)

Winter is best:
Christmas - Pressies but not only that I love the feeling of christmas and the decorations, its also just a time to be happy.
My birthday - its in January so thats reason enough for me
Hot chocolate - whilst I do often have it almost all year round it is a bit better juring winter, oh and the marshmallows to put in them of course
Snow - I like the look of it - nice and peaceful
The possibility of Snow days - Whilst these are extremely low, I experienced one last year and just like it :D

I just like hot weather, so it's not so much the time of year, but a place in the Caribbean would be nice.

I like autumn - cosy nights in under a blanket on the sofa in the conservatory, listening to the rain and reading a book. Beautiful colours in the trees, piles of leaves to run through and frosty air

I think Spring is the prettiest. I like Winter for the (occasional) rain and the Christmas decorations. Summer for the pleasant temps and Autumn for the colorful leaves. How's that, Scamp?

Spring definatly, because of the promise of things to come. It's still possible to believe in May that August and July will be lovely and hot and sunny.

Unlike you, scamps, I like the Spring, and things coming back to life again!! I don't like Winter at all, with the dark mornings, and dark evenings. I find it quite depressing, in fact, some days!

Any time of year when it's cold is grim. At the moment our central heating isn't working. Consequently, getting out of bed this morning was pure torture. A house in a hot place is indeed the only way forward probably.

Can't sleep in a hot house. Too warm and sticky. In a cold house you can wrap the duvet around you and make yourself like a sausgae roll with you as the....well you get the idea right.

As long as it's not a cold, wet summer (much like the summer just gone) I don't care. I don't care that winter is cold because it's expected, but when summer is cold and wet, that is depressing... it just makes me think bring on the global warming if it makes summer nice and hot.

I am aware I live in England and it'll never be tropical. But reasonably summery would be nice.

Tis bloody true and all. Plus when it's cold in the bedroom there are plenty of nocturnal activites you can do to warm yourself up. When it's hot the same activity just makes you more hot and sweaty than you already were and you're generally too tired anyway.

Andy you need to get past that - you can always have a shower together to solve that problem!

If I had a decent enough shower I would do but my shower has busted controls, it's one nanometer's difference between effing freezing and jeffing hot! I don't mind effing hot in the morning as it wakes me up, but too cold and it makes......performance...difficult.

It's on my "to-do" list. Along with put a new carpet down on the stairs, mend the extractor, weed the garden. Sort out the front garden, file my paperwork, fit a new lightbulb under the kitchen cupboards, mend the guttering, fix the wireless broadband and empty the bins.

I'd do it but there's just too much good tele on at the moment.
