To be fair, people with full-beam headlights when you are oncoming are annoying as well. And people who insist on putting their foglights on when it's crystal clear out. Have we been through this before?

I'm annoyed because I'm doing adult swimming lessons and apparently when it's kiddies half term week, it's not on (no idea why), so next week is off. Although, I may go and get some extra tuition elsewhere with Mrs Topher as she is a very experienced swimmer and actually had to choose between swimming and table tennis (and athletics) when it came to choosing one sport to do properly.

It's not dangerous though. Don't wear really tinted Stevie Wonder glasses obviously, just ones that cut out the glare. It's the polarisation that's inmportant, not the tint. Ok so it makes things like pedestrians a little difficult to spot, but any pedestrian out on country roads at 2am is asking for it basically.

I feel a bit nauseous now... ever so slightly... I got pills from the dox on Friday, and this is one of the side-effects. Plus, this Friday, I have to go back in the morning for a blood test.. moan.. groan.

I've still got the plague, my dog is at the vet's and I'm worried about her plus my hands are covered with superglue! (Dalek biscuit jar, the plunger broke off and it was a bugger to get back on) plus I ate so many strepsils on saturday that I lost all feeling in my mouth. I couldn't taste the beer going down so I had no idea how much I was drinking. Suffice to say, I just woke up!

It's not a cold, it's not the sniffles, it's full blown pneumonic plague like in spooks. Most of my company is down with it (not in a cool street way you understand but just suffering).

Topher wrote:I can't remember the last time I was ill. Actually, that may be a lie, the last time I was properly ill was when I had chicken pox. That was when my brother was born (I know this because I wasn't allowed to go into hospital and see my mum and new brother at the time); my brother is now 18. I've had colds since then, but they don't count as proper illnesses. I can probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I've been to the doctors.

I haven't slept very well. I have been up between the hours of 0200 to 0400, and feel a bit blaaaahhh. I read a bit of my new Moyles' book during the night (the first one), and so far, it's really great. A smashing insight.

At least the sun is shining brightly.

There's an infestation of fleas in our house, which is grim for me as i'm one of those people who always gets bit. The central heatings getting mended today, which will probably make the flea problem even worse.

Went upstairs cause a collegue needed a hand earlier. I leant over her and she shouted, very loudly "You smell of Dog Biscuits". I felt embarrassed and really pissed off it had been broadcast. I asked a few people to sniff me (!) and nothing but my aftershave. the girl upstairs checked my collegue's cardigan, and found that's what smelled.
No apology yet

I'm glad I missed that thread.

I had to do my 'sofa' stint last night, M5 south bound was bumper to bumper.

3 HOURS!

Still not happy.
I did go see Sean Lock on stage last night though, very, very good!
