Netscape has only just over 1% of usage currently, and that's when it's in a group with the other Mozilla projects (except Firefox); Safari has 1.6%.

i wasnt really meaning it to be an official popularity contest - i wanted to upgrade my browser to something better and just wanted peoples opinions. The poll options were based on what i had been told off folk already.

Ive tried firefox, didnt like it, moved back to IE7 earlier today... see how that goes.

Topher recommended Firefox to me because of the spell check, which hopefully you will have all noticed has improved my spelling ( authors excepted ) hugely. It is very good and works better with Vista as well, as on allot of site Vista Explorer, and the site don't get on ( especially if you get it to remember a password, then even if you delete then, something remembers it !

I would recommend it.

Why's that obvious, he could have used telnet, or even Netcat. Also, considering the low entry level to browsers, I don't think it's fair to actual geeks to hand out the title willy-nilly.
