anyway, just to stir it up a tiny bit more, in my job I work with a lot of different cashiers every day and consistently the ones who are lazy and stupid and really don't want to work are white british people, give me an African or an Eastern European any day of the week cos they work their arses of in my shop.

Am I the only one who thinks it's an appaling use of grammar then? Granted my spelling isn't always up to scratch but that's just because I'm lazy and can't be bothered and most of the time I think quicker than I can type so it comes out a bit garbeled but "Like what Australia has."

Dunno haven't read most of this thread. Mainly because although we're all allowed to voice our own opinions...except for Footloose (I've banned him from having opinions for the day as part of my being ruler of the world) it's one of those debates that could go on and on forever.

And yes the views on toilet cleaning are not my own but are the perceived views of most people who read the Daily Mail. My own views on foreigners are fully detailed in one of my previous posts but like me no-one else reads them.

I know, we should just get rid of all the ones who don't want to work. Let them in if they've got a good education in areas we are lacking in and want to work hard, and of course let them in if they are fleeing persecution from an oppresive government regeime of course but the rest of em should be kicked out.

You can't run away from it now just because you have lost the plot Mark. The problem is that you absolutely don't know your left wing from your right wing, or your right wing from your wrong wing - but you think you do. Or at least, you think you know enough about it to churn out terrifyingly facile, fascist and xenophobic propagander - and then you demonstrate that you don't even understand what YOU have said, let alone what anyone else has said, but you are nevertheless going to stand by it rigidly, even though you haven't a clue (by your own admission) what you're talking about! You need to stop talking and start listening (to some people with a broader experience of the world than seems to have been the case so far), and maybe stop typing and start reading some of what the people who really DO know what they are talking about have said. Even if you end up still in favour of strictly curtailing - or even ending - immigration, at least let it be a conclusion you reach with the REAL facts and figures clear in your mind, and free from the emotive garbage of the tabloid press.
