Since they were talking on the show today about the whole moon landing thing being faked - I figured that this video proved Daves arguement...

So whatcha think? Did we go to the moon all those years back, or is it all a conspiracy?

Well since the 1st guy who landed on the moon (can't remember his name) won't ever talk about it, says a lot to me!!! Why would you want to go to the moon anyway? I am more fun 8)

Neil Armstrong is the name you're looking for. And, are you more fun than walking on the moon??? Now you've done it. There'll be all the boys asking you for "Moonbeam Landings" on video

There is a lot of people swear by this conspiracy theory, but I'm not really sure TBH.
I used to be positive beyond any doubt that their was a moon landing, but I remember some years ago someone telling me that Yuri Gagarin wasn't the first man in space, I thought he was a nut, turns out that he was right! and some guy called Ilyushin (he went on to be a top aircraft engineer, and some Russian aircraft are named after him) was the first.

The thing is I'm sure it would 'get under the skin' of anyone, telling one of the worlds greatest lies and keeping that secret, as it did for Gagarin, who became a national embarrassment, and finally ending in his suicide.

So with that in mind, I tend to believe that the moon landings were true, although I am a little sceptical.

It's possibly one of those things that we'll never know. Perhaps, if it's not true, it's something Armstrong will tell on his death bed when the time comes. I don't know enough of the facts, but the radiation argument sounds a convincing one and so does the shadow one. How do the believers get round that argument? Same with the shadows, to a degree.

I find the whole thing very interesting and I may read up on it. That said, I haven't found the time to read up on Lewis Carroll yet (but I will do.)

Blimey, you have a mind like an overstuffed "pending" tray!

Didn't you see that programme on channel 4 a few years ago with Neil Morrisey where he de-bunked the moon landing hoax myth by showing how even here on earth you can get explain the things that scientists have said wouldn't be possible on the moon.

That sounds stupid but I know what I mean. Like the shadows in different directions things, they showed how that is achieveable and stuff.

I know what I'm on about. Plus what about that mirror that's on the moon that bounces back laser beams shot at it so we can measure the distance of the moon. It needed to be placed very precisely and they didn't have very good robots back then.

The hassle involved in faking it and keeping it a secret is greater than just going to the damn moon I think.
