Hello All,

I have been a massive Moyles fan for years, especially since he started on breakfast. Since July this year though I have been unable to listen due to work commitments, so everyday I record it my Sky+ box, record it into cool edit and burn it onto a CD to listen to in my car on the way to work!

I have a problem though, I forgot to change the times on the manual recording on Sky when the clocks went back and I lost the programme on Monday 29th October.

Is anyone as sad as me and records and keeps the shows? Or does anyone know a way of getting hold of it? I am desperate.

I am willing to cover costs etc... your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Ben

Don't know about you, but I am going to get things in perspective, remember it's a radio show which happens every day, not a one-off life changing event, accept that it doesn't matter a bit if I miss the show for just one day, and get on with my life.

That's not what I meant though.

See, I think this could be another case (though I accept my previous accusation of this may not be correct) of takingthepissitis.

It may be contagious. Foot-loose has had it years.

It's a recurrent condition, tends to be aggravated by contact with ninnies.

You are in the right place, Mr Swindon. If there is gonna be a geek somewhere that keeps a record of every show, then he is gonna be on here. Best of luck finding what you are after. Oh, and Yudsters comment about the deja vu is cos you posted this in the Sound Request forum as well.

See folks, was that so hard to do?! Takethepissitis. Humph.

As fun as transferring, to a person I don't know at all, over 200MB's of MP3 recording sounds I won't be able to transfer them to you because: -

  1. It would take too long.
  2. It would be illegal.
  3. Veloceraptors ate my modem.
  4. All of the above.

Console hasn't taken his medication today.

What a bunch of idiots! I would have thought everyone here would be here because they liked Chris Moyles. It seems you are all wasters who have too much time on your hands!

Thank you foot loose though... it seems you are the only nice one. It really wasn't that difficult for a straight answer was it!!

Yes I did; at least, I think they were mine. I don't like to label everything in my medicine cabinet. You'd never have any surprises.

This week's top tip from Children's Hour.

An inventive approach to getting help, I must say.

My answer was straight, except for the part about the Velocerapter, it was actually a toy that fell on the modem; it didn't do any damage mind.

I think you actually got one answer, in several inventive and amusing forms.

Out of curiosity, Ben, what took you two weeks to request the recording? If you had requested within a week we could have suggested that you simply download the show off of the 'Listen Again' stream, but as you have now left it too long it's a bit much to request someone to transfer you a recording.

I went on holiday at the start of October and so I was catching up with the shows. When I started to record that Monday's show I realised. I managed to record from the Tuesday from listen again... but it was too late for the Monday.

I know it is asking a lot and it would be a massive favour from a stranger... I just hoped that someone out there wouldn't mind. I would help out anyone who asked!

Well, ignoring the illegal-ness of the transfer (as well as the time it would take (and the Veloceraptor 'attack' on my modem)), which I mentioned earlier, my upload is already pretty much capped out at the moment so I wouldn't be able to transfer it for a couple of weeks anyway.

if its less that 400mb then you can use my webspace, Console. Upload it, he downloads it, the two of us look like really decent, helpful folk and everyone else looks like prats that couldnt help their fellow man... 8)

Oh, and I recently installed RaptorGuard 2.1 on my webspace, so that should sort out your jurrassic problems.

How does uploading it to your webspace magically increase my upload capacity, reduce the time it would take or remove the legal issues involved with the transfer?

I'm sure Moyles won't mind that much if you miss one show.

Worse things have happened.

I was ignoring the legal issues.

I also wasnt paying attention to what you were saying about your upload capacity.

Sorry Ben.

Indeed worse things certainly DO happen - I missed the first five minutes of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday!

So the only issue you actually took into account was the Veloceraptor attack? Some people on here are very odd some times.
