I think people who talk about committing suicide are extremely rarely the people who actually do it. The people who talk about it are the attention seekers.

Nope gotta go with Topher on this. Psychologicaly proven that people who want to kill themselves often aft perfectly normal up until they do it, they don't let anyone else know in case that person tries to stop them and if they really wanted to do it they wouldn't want anyone to stop them.

The reverse is also true, if someone doesn't really want to do it then they tell people because they know that someone will try to stop them but the very act of telling someone means they don't really want to do it anyway so no need to worry they're just a very messed up person.

I've had a mate top himself as well, he was fine at 3.30 in the morning when we left the club together, he was found at 6.30am and he'd hanged himself. Never said a word to nobody. Everyone was totally shocked because he was such a "live for the moment" kinds guy.
