we just got one of them in Cov. well they say its an outdoor ice rink. it's under a marquee.

No, nobody's attempted to play hockey on it yet, just...well, skate. It's hugely popular, we run ten sessions of 250 people each per day and at the weekends and over xmas hols they all sell out.

We've got one over at Basildon Festival Leisure Park in the car park. Had to put a gazebo over it tho coz last year some one decided to try ice skating on their high heels after clubbing. Only in Essex....

Its true, Basildon does represent the Essex stereotype as well if not better than anywhere else in the county. I live a LONG way from there.

Barking and Dagenham are both technically London boroughs, so we in Essex have washed our hands of them.

I don't think I've had experience of other people from Essex. Oh, no I worked with someone from Wickford but he was a funny bloke and not the Essex stereotype.

Dunno. There's a few Essex stereotypes in Wickford, to be sure. I lived on the outskirts of there for a few months and i remember it was nigh-on impossible to get served in a pub, unless you were wearing a white tracksuit or similar. That said, there was a bloke who had a good quality plant-derived product in abundance.
