What's the oddest Xmas present you have ever received?

To be fair, I would see that as a weird present too, but then I'm not into that sort of thing and most people who know me, know I think it's a load of cobblers. I would imagine the same scenario is true for Console.

Yep, I know. I thought he was posting it to annoy me, because I have displayed an interest in this stuff in the past.

The most bizarre present I have received was a shaving kit, courtesy of a shop... I am female. Enough said.

You could use it on your legs.

Or your pubes.

Do you mean 'what is the process that is Tie-dying?'

You tie your garment in a knot and apply dye, so that some of the item gets dyed and some doesn't. You get some interesting patterns:

I always used to get a whole raft of totally inappropriate and useless things from various members of the extended family (mostly Mr Yudster's mob) who seem to just buy a job lot of something like toiletries sets and then wrap them for whoever happens to need a present. I absolutely loathe receiving gifts like that - if you don't have the time or inclination to actually think about something I might actually like, then you shouldn't be getting me anything in the first place! It's the thought that counts, and there's nothing more empty than a thoughtless gift. I've managed to convince them that they don't need to buy me a present at all, so it's all good now.

Nah she isn't. We went through a phase of whatever new house or place we went where there were spoons we would take a picture of us with them. So i bought her a spoon and got it engraved.

See, that's a thoughtful gift. Personal. I like that a lot.
