can anyone help me. i am trying to sign up to digital spy and i am not aware that i need to use an ISP email sadly my dad wont let me have it because he uses it as his own email account and doesnt want me messing about with it is there any other way i can get an email address that will work i dont really want to have to pay
any help would he nice

Personally, I'd be of the opinion that if they are going to have that type of restriction on registering, I don't really want to register (which I didn't anyway, I was just testing.)

Most ISP's will allow you to create several email address' using the logon/user name setup originally with the ISP.

You could ask your dad about that.

Yeah, but quite a few use the same mailbox with a different alias. That annoyed me with whoever did it with me (possibly Freeserve, when they were still Freeserve.)

I was going to say that - I can't see why you can't have your own email address on your dad's ISP. We have five different addresses on ours, all with whatever privacy and security measures the user wants.
