Sorry for the double post. Must be the 2 pints.

"Elf" with Will Ferrell (as previously noted by me in other thread) is a great Christmas movie. I watch it every year with my kids. In fact, if I'm in a crap mood throughout the year they will recite lines from the movie just to give me a chuckle. Brilliant.

'Die Hard' was probably my favourite Christmas film, although to be fair it's not exactly up against a great list of films.

It's not a film but "Box of Delights" the BBC series is fantastic. I love Die Hard too

Look at that a post about Christmas stuff where I'm not being Scrooge!

I love cheesy Christmas movies. Muppets Christmas Carol, Wonderful Life, Santa Clause (1,2 and 3), Muppets Family Christmas (more of a TV special than a movie but I don't care - and if anyone knows where I can get it on DVD, please tell me), Christmas specials are the only Disney cartoons I can tolerate (especially Pluto's Christmas Tree, which I have loved since I was a small child), Meet Me In St Louis which is close to my all time favourite musical, When Harry Met Sally, Love Actually, Miracle on 34th Street (the original, not the remake), the Patrick Stewart Christmas Carol, and dozens more........................

the Box of Delights was brilliant. I havn't thought of it for years. "The Snowman" and Raymond Briggs' Father Christmas, are probably my favourite Christmas films though.

They are not my employer, they're my sister company! I did search other sites first but it was much more expensive on those! It was £10.99 on Play!!!

I guess my favourite would be "Serendipity".. It's not actually a Xmas movie, but it starts and ends at Xmas time! :-)

Well I think that counts then. When Harry Met Sally isn't a Christmas movie, but it has Christmas in it, so it qualifies for me. Holiday Inn and White Christmas are wonderful too.

This reminds me of something... I think I will create a topic out of it.

On that basis, 'The Truman Show', 'Catch me if you can' and 'About a boy' are all Christmas films.

No they aren't, because I have never seen them. I said "qualifies for me".
