He certainly wants to make his mark doesn't he, his predecessor didn't seem to be anywhere near as vocal.
The decision to appoint Sven was controversial because a foreign manager hadn't been employed before; that was 2001, times have changed and we've already leaped that hurdle before, so why shouldn't we again?
I think if an English manager is available and is generally considered good enough to do the job and take the pressure, then they should be the first option, but if none of those requirements can be met by an English manager, then the FA should have no qualms about going for a non-English manager.
