*ahem* back to topic: I thought Clarkson's interview was funny. He has always struck me as a witty and clever man. Top Gear is very good and the episode with Chris had me really laughing. Additionally, I'm sure Jeremy does in fact know what his employee is up to and was just being coy, mischievious or reticent. I thought it was fantastic that he said his wife only gives him 60 quid a week. True or false, that's sheer comedic value.

I agree with sunny on this. It's also clear from the interview that Jeremy is a lot cleverer than he was letting on about modern music and technology and the Jeremy Clarkson that he presented was the kind we often see, the bumbling slightly out of touch older generation.

He was bang on about the start of the Foo's and that Scissor Sisters track as well.
