Particular tunes can put me in a good mood, whenever I listen to them, almost with out exception. If I'm feeling down putting them on brightens me up a bit :)

No real order: 1) Oasis-Whatever 2) Madness-Wings of a Dove 3) Paul Weller/The Jam-Town Called Malice

What are other peoples??

Pretty much anything by the Jam does it for me. Earth Wind and Fire tracks have the same effect. Also Kool and the Gang (I'm an eighties girl......) - except the awful one they did called Joanna. Hate that.

Sorry Ladbroke, too many to list!

I've got a real weakness for drum and bass for making me happy. The song of the year for me is T2 Heartbroken. It's a real "jig about in your seat" knid of song.

Ash - Kung Fu
Brand new Cheesy Song - I've got it on my mobile, I use it as my alarm in the morning.

Oh don't, I've been singing it all morning and getting some very strange looks for it.

Actually, I agree with all of them, along with Blur's 'Parklife' and 'Country House', Pulp's 'Sorted for E's and Wizz'. Also (though it doesn't sound particularly cheerful), 'Best Wishes to Your Black Lung' by Less Than Jake.

I agree with Yudwuk, too many to mention.

Other than that it's songs associated with good bits of my life so far, like "it ain't over til it's over" by Lenny Kravitz, always reminds me of a very nice girl called Claire.... *sighs wistfully*

My main one is Bowling For Soup - Girl All The Bad Guys Want. But also Counterfeit God by Black Label Society and All Star by Smashmouth (slightly ruined by its Shrek associations tho).

Ah, a fantastic song; I haven't heard that in ages, I must dig it out and have a listen again.

It's a guilty secret - let me alone.

Nothing wrong with that song, it's great. One of the few S Club [7] songs I actually like (and know the words to).

Yes, although I've also been listening to the Steps version too; they're remarkably similar. Until recently (as I hadn't heard it in ages) I had no idea what the song was actually about, I just always thought it was good song to sing to.

I thought it was about a couple basically being attracted. Maybe it's not. "let you make all that love to meeeeeeee" (sure that's the lyrics).

I've thought of another one: Madonna's "True Blue" ..

"no oh more sadness,
I kiss it goodbye,
The sun is bursting right out of the skyyyyy"... oooooh.. I'm in a good mood this morning :-)

Let me quote you some lyrics from the song: -

Dianna Ross/Steps wrote:You give me all the after midnight action,
I wanna get you where I can let you make all that love to me.
...
You make me tremble when your hand moves lower,
You taste a little then you swallow slower.
Nature has a way of yielding treasure,
Pleasure made for you, oh.
...
You let me hold you for the first explosion,
We get a picture of our love in motion.
My arms will cover, my lips will smother you
...
You let me hold you for the first explosion,
Arms will cover you.

Well, as I said indeed, a couple clearly attracted to one another. It's funny how you always like "utter filth" type of songs.
