Oh no. I've just sent a snotty email off to Virgin because I was convinced they had introduced some kind of packet shaping and that was slowing the download. I normally download all five shows on a Saturday and last week I had all kinds of problems. Whereas I'd normally have them all downloaded within 10 minutes, the software was reporting well over an hour. Not only that but once downloaded the streams were corrupt with either regular breaks in them, or the end missing altogether.

Oh well. I tried one today at work on an ADSL connection and it was fine and although it started off very slowly, Virgin seemed to be back up to speed again when I just tried to download.

Only problem is, for the first time since 2004, I've missed a show. I don't know if this breaks any rules but I'd really appreciate it if anyone could share the 1st Oct show either as RA or MP3.

Yeah. lol. I just realised when I read elsewhere on the forum. I went to check the Tues to Fri shows I just downloaded to make sure and sure enough I picked the right week to miss downloading a show.

Thanks to the advice on this page I've been successfully downloading the streams of shows for a few months now. I've been using Replay AV.

Since last week, it has stopped being able to download. I've tried using Net Transport and HiDownload as well, to see if my Replay AV program had somehow been corrupted, but nothing will do it.

Have the BBC suddenly changed something to prevent the stream being downloaded? I can still capture the stream in real time, in other words record the audio live from Listen Again as it plays, but I used to be able to download the stream it in 5-10 minutes.

Has anyone else had a problem with this? I don't think the URL has changed, as that still plays the stream.

Any ideas folks?

I've been trying to record the show but I'm really struggling since I'm not a very technical person is there any chance someone could give me like simple steps I tried following the other steps on the previous page but, I struggled

Been recently using nettransport to download the programs, but the 30 day trial has just ended. I downloaded the free version which wa sposted on here, but the downmload speed on that is extremely slow. I'v e also downloaded the 'hidownload' tool. But again the download speed is slow on that too. Is there any programs with a high download speed like the speed i had with nettransport.

All help much appreciated.
