I've got some much stronger painkillers on prescription. They're helping a bit. I'm also on some other drugs for it which mean I have to avoid alcohol for the moment. I'm doing pretty much as I've been told (ncluding staying home today instead of going and doing some of the million and six things I have to do this week) because apparently if it gets worse before it gets better I may have to go into hospital, and this close to Christmas that would be an appalling thing.

I've got to avoid alcohol with my medication too. I'm on presciption no. 3 (the other 2 were a bloody nightmare). I'm on pills for anxiety/panic, so no alcohol.
