Take "intuition" for example. Largely based on feeling, and yet often remarkably accurate.

Actually intuition is based on sub-concious knowledge, things you notice about people, from the way they talk and move, and from the surrounding area, like temperature, size, humidity, pressure, smell and many other things. It also takes into account prior knowledge, and relates what your senses are telling you to what you've experienced in the past. Intuition can be a valuable tool, as you don't have to consciously think about all the variables (which would take far longer) and it can be quite accurate, but it should never be relied on, because every situation is different, even though there could be many similar variables.

Well, yes, sometimes the 'gut reaction' can be pointing out something bloody obvious like 'hmm, that looks like a long way down, better not jump'. Equally though, a 'gut reaction' could be wrong and cause problems that could be avoided by a conscious effort to figure out what's going on.

I've been thinking that for weeks, not just that line, but almost all of the song - it really is about Console! Or at least, about Console's online relationship with Viv, if not the real Console.

As to intuition - I am a very intuitive person. I can "intuit" the responses, motivations and behaviour of other people with uncanny accuracy. BUT - there's nothing supernatural about this ability, it's based purely on a well honed and well applied talent for observation, a very well exercised ability to LISTEN, and personal experience of some of the extremes of behaviour that emotional upset can cause. It's totally logic based (or as much as anything involving human emotions can be) and almost always useful, both at work and in my proper life. BUT (again) - I would never make an important decision affecting myself or others based solely on my intuition of the circumstances. It would be wrong and inappropriate to do so, I've more respect for myself and the people around me to rely on something which should only be regarded as a "complimentary" aid to life, not the ne all and end all.

"You can sigh and say magic" - When would I ever say something was 'magic'?
"And expect me to buy it" - I would certainly never expect someone to believe that something happened by magic.

I can't see the connection so far, and I don't really understand the pseudo-maths bit in the chorus, it doesn't seem to make any sense.

There is talk of it being baggies favourite - a publicity stunt. Think about it, Radio One have played a lot worse lyrics than a popular Christmas song that Radio Two (!!) are still playing - unedited!

However, a user on another site summed it up methinks:
