My son plays that. A lot. Some of you may know his WoW persona. I wouldn't be surprised.

Unlikely. There's heaps of servers.

Bruvva, you caught me 'stroking my human paladin'.

Really? From what you have said on here in the past, i'd have thought you were used to handling small things...?

It's not me that gets to handle it. Or look for it. Fortunately.

Seriously though, due to my hands shaking like I drank Mercury for breakfast, I'm shit at fiddly things.

Fav game has to be Zelda Ocarina Of Time- hence my Link avatar. At the moment it's the new Zelda for the Wii (but I'm stuck in the water temple grr)

I got that (the Wii game) because of all the hype that it was the best game available, but i really didn't like it. seemed too 'linear' in the playing.

Dancing Tauren anyone?

is WoW infecting this place? my cousin almost failed his first year of high school because of WoW. he finally stopped playing. (he's 15.)

the house 'o' pie, as i call my chateau, is hook'd on games at the moment- rock band, assassin's creed, jewel quest, zelda: phantom hourglass, and boogie. we're a sad lot.

you know you can play snake as a firefox extension, yeah?

We're having a goldeneye challenge night this weekend, 8 lads... lots of beer......four controllers..... and a spreadsheet to record the results and formulate a league table. Living the dream.

Ever play Bogmaster? Excellent variation... play on Facility level, with weapons of your choice. First person to reach the toilets is Bogmaster. Challengers must come in and kill him to take the crown. I don't suppose there is an end, unless it's a timed game and the last person wins. I recommend proximity mines for maximum hilarity.

The programme you are using to get onto the internet at the moment is probably called Internet Explorer. Firefox is just another programme that does pretty much the same thing.

It is called "internet explorer"... so what's the point of having two programmes then?

You wouldn't necessarily use both (unless you were designing a web site and wanted to know how it would look in as many different browsers* as possible), but you could use Firefox as an alternative to Internet Explorer because it's more secure, more standards compliant and generally better.

Opera is another alternative.

A good question - I tried using Firefox and found it very similar to Explorer so I've stuck with Explorer. I think you can customise the way it looks and what it does a lot more.

The way I see it, if you're happy with what you use - just stick with it.

I'm another one stuck in the 80s. I love Pacman and Tetris. I had a handheld Tetris game which I recently managed to break by spilling Ribena on it - gutted. I need to get another pronto. I also used to like Snake when I had a Nokia phone, altho I haven't had one for ages.

We had a Commodore 64 as kids and I could play games on that, but as computer games got so much more colourful and fast I found that they hurt my eyes and so I gave up. If I stand and watch someone else play a game on a console for 5mins my head starts to hurt. I have terrible co-ordination too, so they're really not for me.
