There are 12 words below.

You have to match 10 into PAIRS.

Then, the letters of the final two can be re-arranged, and will spell out the name of a Spanish man - but who is it?

MAROON SENORITA REMEDY BOMB

CURE DIAL FAIL ABANDON

VARIOUS FACE STRAND DIVERS

I have no idea what I'm meant to do. Match then into pairs?

I could guess maybe 'remedy' and 'cure' go together?

'bomb' and 'divers'?

other than that, and I'm struggling to find even a tenuious link.

'bomb' goes with 'fail', and 'divers' goes with 'various. You're essentially just matching synonyms.

There are five pairs of words, and two other words which are an anagram of a famous Spaniards name. Who is the person?

you won't get it, because you haven't done the quiz properly! There are a pair, which don't go, leading to the name!

Am I being really dumb? on my post, the two that were left over (without the hyphen) were Strand and Seniorita. Are these the ones that make up the name? If so, where does the B for 'Bandaras come from?
