This is at least the second year that ad has been shown.

Irn Bru was told to stop telling us that it was 'made in Scotland from girders' because that constituted false advertising. Apparently you can't make a soft drink out of steel bars?!?!

The best ad is:

Don't you know it's one of those ads?
Lots of kids with white teeth and giant shoulder pads.
It's not a drink from those crazy yanks
Because it's made right here, you know it's tougher than tanks!

Made in Scotland from girders.
Unpronouncable too!
Made in Scotland from girders.
It's called Barr's, Irn Bru!?

'Til the day is feeling quite fun
If you see a hit single go to Number One.
The only fly in the ointment, Irn Bru's that claim:
Made in Scotland from girders.

There goes your chance of fame
It's a bit of a shame

That said, it might only have been shown up here. I've seen folk on other forums saying they have only just seen it - that's not the first time i've posted that video recently.

I would have guessed that.

Best. Answer. Ever.

I may start using that on a regular basis...

Them: "What would you like to eat?"
Me: "hmm, let me think. I would like an owl sitting in an open book with a candle on its head!"
Them: "Get out of the restaurant."
Me: "Sorry... obviously I mean a 'McOwl sitting in an open McBook with a McCandle on it's McHead'."
Them: "Do you want fries with that?"

i quite like Wayne. Though Colin and Ryan are also great. Was looking at the dvds, but they haven't come out in the UK yet.

there are hundreds of clips on youtube. I would go and link some of the better ones, but I'll end up stuck on there for hours looking at them again. The American ones are a bit more irritating until you remember that the British version is presented by Clive Anderson - the hosts let the show down on both sides of the pond.

Yeah I've watched a few of the clips on youtube. They show the American one on Five US and the British one on Dave, so i watch them when i can. My sis doesn't find it as funny as I do though, I can sit in hysterics at it and she just doesn't get it.

Whose Line is the funniest programme ever. I've actually laughed so hard i've vomited while watching it before now.

(Too much?)

I'm not in agreement here. I find them all very predictable and samey. Which, given the basic premise of the show, I think indicates a big failure of purpose.
