Edith Bowman was wondering what listeners' personal challenges for 2008 would be?

So, what would your challenge be? To lose weight? To gain weight? etc., etc. :-)

Finish paying off my credit card and put the same amount away each month to save for a deposit on a house.

Thanks for your support, Viv, but apparently I'm not the only one to do it.

To lose about 4st. I managed it in 2004, although that was called the stressed out divorce diet! Have gradually put it all back on over the last 3 years..........

Less lager, more green muck, and plenty of running :(

Think my resolutions this year are going to be work related, take a step up the ladder so to speak, getting bored now and I'm nowhere near rich enough yet!

Last year I said I was going to quit smoking and I have so maybe next year I'll me a millionair? Here's hoping!

You shouldn't think badly of yourself. Everyone has good qualities (and bad). A good website to try = moodgym (if you google it!), and the One Life section of the R1 website :-)

Oops, pressed submit by mistake.. I was about to say that having said that, I don't make new year's resolutions because I don't need it to be new year in order to change something that needs changing.

Mine's an odd one, It's not to manage my money better, its to stop Worrying about how I manage my money. A few years ago I got into a bit of trouble with credit cards (I call it my post uni backlash) but I turned my way of thinking around and paid the £6000 off in 2 years. Its good to be aware of your in goings and outgoings each month and being able to manage you finances succesfully, but at the moment I'm obsessed with it, which has turned me into a gibbering wreck when it comes to money. I'm getting better...
