The obvious one's Batman for me but I think this http://vidsearch.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=24170442 looks absolutely ace. It's about a robot who’s spent 700 years cleaning up the landfill site that is future Earth after the departure of the human race whose life is transformed by a new-fangled droid called EVE.

Well 'Cloverfield' (or whatever it is going to be called) springs to mind; that a film that's either going to be great, or a huge let down. Other than that, there's a Kevin Spacey film coming out in March (I think) called 21, and it's about the MIT students that tried to count cards at black jack in Las Vegas. Oh, Iron Man and the new Hulk film also come out next year, they should be go too.

Cloverfield is the film that Moyles spoke about a few months ago, with the odd 'home movie' style trailer. It's by J J Abrams (who also worked on Lost, Alias and Six Degrees) and it's looking to be a monster movie. Other than that, not much is known about it; all details of it are off the record, on the QT, and very hush-hush...

Charlie and The Chocolate Factory-How the golden ticket changed me. Skip forward 5 years after the golden ticket shock windfall, and Charlie is living the life of celebrity sherbet, freshly hoovered from questionable womens thighs. His destitute, crusty old relatives are long forgotten now that he's taken over Wonkas chocolate emporium, and it's all gone a bit Pete 'n' Kate.

"Charlie" and the chocolate Factory.

I'd pay good money to see that!

That last Hulk movie was crap. I can't believe they're making a new one.

Yeah, it wasn't a great film, but the new one, while still technically being a sequel, is going off in a different direction, and will hopefully be pretty good this time.

catherine wrote:The Sex and the City movie. Can't wait.

Is this a joke or are they actually making a Sex and the City film?

I think I'm getting one of those Cineworld unlimited passes for £10.99 in the new year, so I expect to see quite a lot of films from then.

Bonanzoid wrote:I was going to say Balls of Fury, but I saw it on Peekvid and it sucked enormous amounts of tadger, so none that come to mind now.

It looks stupid, but as it's a table tennis film I've got to see it really.

It's not a joke. They're really making the film. Should be nearly done, I think.

As for Balls of Fury, my 11 year old thought it was funny. That should tell you something...

Well, if it 11 year olds see it and want to play because of it, I'm all for it.. we're short of juniors.

Unusually for me I pushed the boat out his year, as it was her 30th. We had dinner at Fifteen, which was fab, then on to see bloody Dirty Dancing. If I'm being totally honest it was very well done, and the lead two characters did really look like the characters from the film. BUT I still had to sit through 90 mins of a chick production.......! Nice ice creams though.

Remember to check out James King this afternoon 1pm until 4 pm, people. He will be talking about movies, although I don't know if it's from the past, or the stuff to come.
