Have any of you come across a really odd film, or one you thought you would like, but just didn't at all?

I rented the movie "Mulholland Drive" last weekend, watched it twice, and I swear I still don't know what on Earth it was about!!

I thought I'd like Evan Almighty, but hated it. I didn't find it funny at all and was bored by it.

I'm still at a loss about "Napoleon Dynamite". I sat through that whole movie whispering, "Wait. Is there supposed to be something wrong with these people?...There's something wrong with everyone, right?...Are they all simple?...They're all special, yes?" I ended up with the third migraine I've ever had after having watched it. Horrible.

What's that one with Nicolas Cage as an undertaker or something? That was bizarre. I did watch it during a night shift tho, so the fact that I was tired probably didn't help. But probably the weirdest one I ever watched was Even cowgirls Get The Blues, which stars Uma Thurman as a girl who is good at hitchhiking cos she has unusually large thumbs. Even the lovely pre-Speed floppy-haired Keanu didn't help that one.

Elizabethtown with Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst....watched it with me gf and even with her explaining the story, still couldn't grasp it.

From years ago 'Eyes Wide Shut'. It was just awful, I nearly got up and left. Was dragged to watch Harry Potter, and went outside for a cigarette 3 times-never a sign I'm enjoying a film when I'd rather stand outisde, in the rain, giving myself cancer.
