How can you not drink ? I've never got why people don't drink, my sister doesn't drink and hardly goes out to pubs/clubs unless she is attending a gig, it all seems very boring to me.

Conversely, I can't see why people would want to go out and drink alcohol, especially if their aim is to get drunk. I've never had the desire to get 'out of my head', and I don't like the taste of any alcoholic drink (although, I do like the smell of Malibu).

Ha, then you should not be considered a geek. Be gone, you with your geek-envy, and get back to your brain-deadening alcoholic beverages.

I know the evils of alcohol well enough; certainly enough to know I wouldn't want another experience of it.

Some people don't like the taste of alcoholic drinks. Others have known people close to them who have been alcoholics and have made a decision (some consciously, others not) to not drink alcohol. Others have been alcoholics previously and have reformed themselves and don't now touch a drop. Others don't like getting drunk I'm sure there are loads of other reasons.

I'm not bright enough to be a geek.

Ah, there is no intelligence prerequisite to becoming a geek; there's simply the thirst for knowledge and the willingness to devote yourself to aquiring it.

S4B wrote:You haven't experienced it with me Console! ;) you should try gettiong drunkled with me! I promise you'd enjoy it!

Thanks, but I doubt I would.

Because you would rather go home at the end of the night to someone alot better looking then the person you left there in the evening, only way you can do this is with the help of alcohol (malibu and coke is delish and my fav drink.)

The smell of alcohol alone is enough to make my stomach turn, that, joined with the actual taste of alcohol and the physical effects that alcohol has on the body, makes it very likely that I wouldn't.

Do you happen to have a horse called Binky? If not, it's unlikely you'd be able to stop me.

Well, the obvious way would be to go either with ugly people or to go alone. I met my (now ex) girlfriend at a pub; I went with my mates (who I wouldn't say were ugly, but as a man I find it hard to judge another man's attractiveness), and I left with her.

Yeah, he was diagnosed with diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's; it's a terrible way to go, for whoever's got it.

I was on about a boyfriend you have left at home for a nightout.

Ah, well it has to be said, I've never left a boyfriend at home when going out (for the night, or otherwise).
