Is it possible to answer the question? I'm trusting you to not be taking the piss here.
There is a real, identifiable answer to the question. It's not the number or permutations that gives away the professor name, but the way in which the permutations build up. Work it out with 1 step, then two, then three etc, and you should quickly come to an answer.
