If it isn't, it ought to be.

Plugging the wrong bloody adapter into the wrong bloody external hard drive and it making a nasty burning smell and then not working. Then discovering that it's got stupid bloody screws on it so it's going to be a nightmare trying to get it out of the bloody case.

Question to techno buffs - when I get the damn thing out of the case, will it just be a really straight forward simple case of getting another power source for the hard drive, or have I royally screwed myself here? It's a Freecom 500gb external thing and it's built like a brick sh*t house inside an armour plated tank that's locked inside a garden shed with a rusty padlock.

Good Luck!!!! a friend of mine had a Western Digital one and he knackered the hard disk on that, he has had to try and find an identical hard disk to get it working....no luck yet!! Might be worth speaking to freecom....
When/if you get the hard disk out look at the make of hard disk, you might be able to get one quite easily from http://www.komplett.co.uk or http://www.ebuyer.co.uk..... enjoy though!

I've got another freecom hard drive, so I am hoping it will just be a case of unplugging the actual drive from the power board and plugging it into the other one. All my music and programme backups are on this so I will be so raging if I lose it.

I'm pissed off at myself as it is - such an easy thing to get right and I go and, quite literally, blow it.

I feel simply cross this morning. I don't actually have a reason to be cross, but just am. I'm in a mood where I just want to be on my own today, I think.

They don't know you've got a boyfriend?

How can you not deal with speed bumps, you just slow down!

Miss Lalottie, at 17 years old and after five months with your boyfriend, I'd have thought your parents would have met the guy a fair few times already!

I don't like those bumps either, but you still just slow down for them.. mind you, if there's nothing coming the other way, you can just go into the middle of the road to avoid them, but I wouldn't advise that if you've got an instructor in the car.

Haha my mum has always said she wouldn't care less if one of us are gay and she definitely wouldn't.

My mum thinks I'm not interested in lads, and more interested in my education. Its the opposite.

Remind her of this and tell her it could have been worse.

Most of the gay people I know have had all sorts of issues and problems and difficulties with various aspects of their lives. I don't know, but my observation is that life can be quite a bit tougher for gay people in some ways. I would definitely care.

Back on the party front, I think maybe I should show her this video, in comparison mine seems just a little more civilised.

And all the straight people you know have no issues or problems and encounter no difficulties? Life is tough for everyone.

Perhaps "wouldn't care less" was the wrong phrase to use.. she certainly wouldn't be in any way disappointed or feel let down and wouldn't think any different of us.
