Ahh, glad you're making the best of it Cat. Sorry about the drip although I'm sure it would have been hilarious to watch.

There's something you don't hear (or read) every day.

i'm home right now i've gone awol for a few hours so i can keep my sanity and the patient line tv is broke and no one is in till monday and the only doctors are emergency doctors that you have to call down so my surgical doctor isn't in till monday either so he couldn't discharge me for a few hours either.

Camera down my throat tomorrow and then if they unblock the gall stone that is stuck somewhere in a few weeks i'll have surgery but if they don't unblock it i'll probably have surgery in a few days.

yeh when gall stones get stuck in the entrance of the gall bladder you have a massive pain attack, that some people say is worse than labour. Now one gall stone has come out of the gall bladder and is in my bile duct blocking bile coming out, which has given me jaundice.

Well I suppose the upside is that you know what the problem is now and how to sort it. Surgery isn't that bad (although ive never had gall stones out) so don't worry about it.

Also, I know where to come if I need someone to do an impression of a Simpsons character!

I don't know, but you can get a perfectly functional, free, Microsoft-compatible alternative from here.

No, because all my blood tests came back normal they didn't need to do the camera thing today because nothing is blocking me up anymore, so they will do it on Thursday not to unblock me but to try and get the gall stones completely out.

Hearing Greg James playing that "new song" by H2O and imagining Cat apapletic with rage shouting "IT'S NOT NEW!"

Not so much Cat being angry but just her passion for rubbish music!

She's ill, it's not a taunt at Cat.

More of an appreciation for someone else's passion for music. I like people who are passionate about music even if I don't like that music myself.
