He was in 10 Things I Hate About You as well. I love that film. Such a shame..

Have just been discussing how accurate his Joker laugh is with a mate of mine recently, quite shocked. He had a bright future ahead of him.

Well that's weird! I thought this was an annoying wind up when I first saw it. My first thoughts were

Hi this is Wes!

28! People shouldn't be allowed to die at 28.

I thought it was a wind up, too. He was so young, handsome and talented. How sad :(

The news this morning said 28. Either way, so young. RIP.

I haven't really seen much of his films (if any), but I knew he was in Brokeback Mountain. 28 is far too young to die, as others have said. It seems to have hallmarks of River Phoenix (though I could be wrong, as I don't know a hell of a lot about it, just what immediately sprung to mind.)

I thought River Phoenix straight away. So young. But can they handle the fame that comes with being a movie star?

River Phoenix was even younger when he died. I think he was early 20s.

Think ya right there Sunny and i know River liked the 'Wild Boy' life but anyone who dies in the 20s has had their innings cut drastically short.

Its even more of a shock when its not been forth coming.

I was listening to Chris this morning (well, last night for me) and he was saying how when he was watching the Ledger thing live how creepy it was to wait for them to bring the body out. I'm glad I've not seen any of this.

Yeah, Kev, River Phoenix was a partyer. I didn't get the feeling Heath Ledger was but I don't go in for all the celebrity news/gossip.

im like you dont really follow the goss, but i knew bout River because of a program i saw on him.

Was watching some of the American Coverage of the Death of Ledger and they said he was very quiet and reserved. Tho some of the reports alleged that he 'might' of had problems coping with the fame. And that he often had been drinking during interviews. Tho they were all quick to state that they didnt know whether that was the case or that he may simply just had a few as it was an evening interview etc.

How easy is it to overdose on sleeping pills? Is it something that could be done by forgetting that you had taken them so you take another dose? Surely it would have to be done deliberatly?

Yeah. Didn't you hear Chris talking about it? It was a complete media frenzy and he's sitting there watching it live and they keep saying things like, "Any moment we're expecting them to bring the body out" and Chris is thinking, "That's morbid. I don't want to see that!" but then he said he never changed the channel. I haven't seen any of the coverage and don't want to. Like Chris said, how sad that around the world, the actor's friends & family were seeing & hearing that same remark about the body being brought out. It's completely insensitive. I mean, I know it's in a body bag but still. Do people really need to see the bag to believe the actor is inside? I have a problem viewing stuff like that. It always reminds me of the news footage on September 11th when they were showing the people jumping out of the highrises to their deaths. Who needed to see that?! :(
