The beloved Blobs have been around for ages now on BBC 3. Station bosses are out of touch when they say that these creatures are "cold" and "shouty". They've never come across to me as being like that, I agree a makeover is needed but let those Blobs be incorporated into the idents in some way.

They're chilled out specimens, I can't usually understand them but I like that, they always look like they're wasted, I think we should leave them be or develop a new place for them to reside in so we can witness their quirky antics some more.

I think you should find a more productive way to waste time than trying to save fictional characters that appear in between TV programmes on a barely watched channel.

Away with your snobbery! Least they aint as insignificent as, say..Ping Pong for instance! They've been around 5 years and that means they're worth at least 5 minutes of my time on here - literally. I'll not have you kicking the Blobs when they're down.. they'll probably join you on here now they're out of work.

"Ping pong" as you put it, has been around since the 1880s (though it used to be known as "whiff-whaff") and how you can compare a sport with some of the highest number of participant numbers in the world to some weird fat things on, as I said, a barely-watched channel, is beyond me.

Haha. You should Google Timo Boll, Jan Ove Waldner or Wang Liqin and see if you still think that.

I had Wang Liqin the other night, number 23 on our menu! Didn't taste too good though.

Hang on Wang Liqin, as in pronounced Wang lickin?

Who doesn't like a bit of Wang lickin eh?

Haha it is indeed pronounced as that (though it's emphasis on the last syllable.)

Personally, I think we should start a campain to get the name back to whiff-whaff! Can you imagine the abuse Topher would get?!

"Whiff-whaff". Brilliant.
