Natalie Cassidy (formerly Sonia in Eastenders) was excellent with Nihal this morning.

R1 are looking at body image on the Sunday Surgery this weekend, and it was great to hear someone on the radio non-obsessed with buying into this celebrity "thin" CRAP. Liked her far more healthy approach towards food & exercise, without becoming obsessed by it. Her current DVD is apparently a best-seller, and good for her!!

Well done! Natalie for the Sunday Surgery!! :-)

She had a boob job a few years back didn't she? Not THAT happy with her body then.

Andy B!! It's funny but at the time that record was released, I was around, and the radio was so naive at that point, they didn't actually "get it".

Did they not see the sleve for the single? I too was around...and Radio1 did eventually remove it from the playlist.

Er.. what was the sleave, or is it too rude? I can't actually remember it being removed... I just remember an awful lot of naievty surrounding it at the time, you know. :-)

I'm certain someone started a campaign against it or something...memory's foggy when you start to go back beyond.....last week.

Anyway, just for you I've broken my perpetual Laziness just this once....

You know, I don't find that particularly shocking, but I guess in the still strung up 80's, it would have been viewed that way :-)

Dunno, I'm far too young to remember the 80's!

I'm not! era of puff ball skirts, dodgy (but somehow great) music, and rubix cubes. O, and space invaders. I love them all, with the exception of the skirts.

I haven't a clue what you're on about I'm afraid as I'm only.....20.

Space Invaders, you mean those 10p crisps right?

Oh no it was definitely the 80's Lottie. Viv forgot to mention leg warmers, big bows in your hair and those weird things on springs (something boppers I think) that were attached to headbands.

I loved the 80's.

Have I missed something? Someone raises a good point against Viv's, she types the line of a song, the thread goes a bit surreal and all is forgotten?

I'm obviosuly such a master debater that she realised she had not the proverbial leg to stand on and could not match my mental prowess so gave up.

Either that or we just like a bit of random!
