I still though the film was rubbish though! - My missus was proper blubbin at the bit with....damn can't say it without ruing it for everyone....well the only bit in the film that could make someone blub, she blubbed at it good and proper...Mascara running down her face and everything!

Wuss!

Nah, she's a big softie when it comes to things like that....and she's very good at staying quiet in public places no matter what's going on.

Which is why I rarely watch films based on books I enjoy, they spoil the stories!

Luckily, I don't enjoy reading fiction, so I get to watch the films.

Also I am possibly the only person in the world who has seen 28 Weeks Later, but not 28 Days Later. I quite liked 28 Weeks Later actually, it was eerie how they showed London empty (which I'm sure they did in the first as well, but as previously stated, I didn't see it.)

The computers were down, and IT failed to inform anyone of when they would be fixed (a**holes). Also, I have the dox at 2:30 p.m., and I am nervous.

What is the meaning of to "have the dox"? Is it anything like the pox? Because if so, you're all right as long as it's chicken and not small.

I wasn't being petty, I was asking what you meant by "the dox"! Apart from being something obscure to do with IT I think, it isn't a word as far as I knew, so I wondered what you meant.

I can do petty if you want petty - I could point out the idiocy and ridiculousness of not using the correct word for things when the correct word is freely available and accessible, and talk about the ever present dangers of misunderstanding which might arise from such futile and pretentious forms of made-up expression. I could make comments about what kind of a person constantly feels the need to re-invent the language in a series of ever more irritating ways, whilst apparently having ongoing difficulties using the wealth of language already at their disposal to effectively put over their ideas and opinions - but I won't because I don't actually care about any of that, it's all very petty. I just wondered what "dox" was.

What isn't annoying me today? I have a headache. My parents are doing my head in. I can't be arsed to move. I don't feel I've done anything productive. I got angry and shouted at my dad. Still waiting for my new contact lenses. My sister added fat to the list of insults. I think I'll stop complaining now.

Good God. Take some Aspirin for the headache! Hope you feel better soon. Tomorrow is another day (Anne of Green Gables).

I argues about doing Key Skills when i was at college. I thought they were only important to Universities, my employer didn't take much interest in my Key Skills, just the GCSE's and A-Levels.

Key skills, as i remember them, are certain tests in the subjects of Maths, IT and i think English. Alot of the A-Level subjects cover them within the course, but sometimes you have to do separate exams to gain the qualification. My english and IT were covered, however, even though i did A-Level maths, i still had to do a separate exam for it.

All we were told were that they got us extra UCAS points, and that's it.

Possibly, but that could have nothing to do with key skills...
