So a couple of you Guys know about my little Cartoon character I draw a lot, called Zoot. You may also know that I was lucky enough to get a model of him made by the kind people of Arardman Animation...

Well, He is sat here on my desk! and he's fantastic. I thought I'd post some pictures, so he can see him in full 3D glory!

What's he made out of? Can you move his head/limbs? What size is he?
Why has he got no genitals?

Well I did some work last year for the head model maker, because she happens to be best mates with a guy here at work, and i was cheeky enough to ask. Well if you don't ask you don't get i suppose...

I think he's made of that Fimo stuff you get from modeling shops, or something similar. He's painted though. No You can't move him, his joints are stuck fast. He's about 6 inches tall, and suprisingly heavy for such a small guy.

My mum used to do Fimo modelling every now and again.

Mrs Topher's sister has a Fimo-like nurse (as she is a nurse) that has been put in a deep frame and hung on the wall.. I've been looking for a Police equivalent, but no joy so far.

Haha yes, but while I'm sure they were happy to help someone they know, I'm not so certain they'll be as happy to help someone they know's random internet person in need.

Anyway, someone makes a nurse one, I just need to find out who and if they make a Police woman one.. I'm not even sure it is Fimo, but it's similar. This is the hardest challenge in the world, I doubt even Anneka Rice would be able to do it.

Fimo is readily available and easy to use. Surely you know someone (Zoot) sufficiently artistic to do the business? Might not be quite as swanky as Zoot's Zoot, but it would work, I'm sure!

My response would have been similar, Yudwuk, but I struggle to believe that even he is that stupid. Therefore, I'm unsure as to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was joking or not.

Zooty, you know what I think of mini Zoot (chevalradis!) I sooo want one though! Please get them to produce a few more. My kids went nuts when I showed them the pics, they want one too!!!!

I was chatting to a french mate of mine on Sunday, and apparently Zoot means something VERY different in france... something that could be, shall we say, quite inappropriate. So S4B and I were toying with a french name that could be a pun on something very english, ala Asterix.
