I'm sorry, I rarely visit here on the weekend, but I feel I have to today to vent my absolute shock and awe at how bad the Alan Carr thing was last night.

Once again Moyles has proved to the public that he's absolutly useless on television, when will he learn to stop agreeing to be on these two bit z-list celebrity based shows. Duncan from blue??? For chuff sake!!!

It's just cringe worthy watching Moyles stumble and stutter his way through the awkwardness that is he on TV.

To summarise, a bollocks show, with bollocks guests (I'm not even starting on the civilian plebs they managed to find from some council estate), and a bollocks format.

Rant over.

I agree, these shows are completely beneath him, hes better than this - And I haven't even seen the Ming Mong thing yet.. You know what.. I think I'll take your word for it Bollockbag.

Any show titled 'Celebrity' usually belongs at ITV as they enjoy making that kind of crap.

I'm sure Vernon Kay would enjoy fronting this sort of telly, hes just signed a 2 year deal with ITV, no doubt doing more of these kind of shows.

I got to agree-what an absolute waste of time, absolute trash. I like Alan Carr, and his stand up is hilarious, but that tripe belonged on some obscure, random satelite channel. Tara P-T seemed to be on another planet, although she is most of the time, Duncan from Blue is like a charicature, and Chris I'm afraid looked plain awkward. I thought his TV stuff had improved somewhat since Live with..... but apparently not. The 'civilian' family were however perfect for the show. They provided all the ammunition the celebrities needed with their gormless performance.

Rant over. Publicity Stunt just Begun

WOW honesty from Ballbag for once.

IT WAS A TV SHOW. Not some literary masterpiece.

Chris hardly said anything, and what he did say was funny. Alan Carr is funny, and they worked so well on the Radio. It was Alans first show, these things take time.

I would not expect anyone on the show to want to stand up and publicly back this first Episode, it was mildly amusing, and had some nice parts in it, Chris in a more adult "I'd * her" role was good, and something that I could see working.

Winging bunch of nerdy Misfits.

agreed was extremely disapointing. Especially when we all know how entertaining Alan Carr can be. That Tara woman was a waste of space. I cant believe that she 'wasnt' pissed. But then she was probabably on some 'drug'

Just watched it and I think you are ALL (including Ballbag) being far too kind! TPT needs shooting! I think Zoe and Chris were too quiet. Best bit about it was Chris' trolley dash at the end. Who the hell thought a good quiz was a slapper on a bed giving clues about which celeb she had screwed? The world has gone mad!

I think she was, from what Moyles was hinting at on the show last week when he said "she kept saying to Duncan 'is there any more wine?'" Stupid slag.

Personally i didnt think it was THAT bad although couldve been better. Could hardly understand the "civilians" though! Although that Laura on the end was quite nice, as was the one who won the crying thing.

Jamelia looked like she didnt want to be there, so she must have a new single or album coming out soon. Zoe Ball? No-one has heard or seen here in yonks! Duncan James (ex Blue)? Couldve been worse i suppose. Although was a bit boring. Tara-Palmer Tomkinson: I'm even going to start on her! Moyles wasnt exactly the best but he was better than the others. Loved his line "Alan Alan, i've f****d her!" when on about Mariah Carey. That, and when he was doing the trolley dash and at the beer bit was the only 2 times i laughed out loud.

Ok, i've made it about half way through this. I assume from the above comments that it doesn't improve. Why is Tara twitching so much?

Someone should complain about the blatant Glasgowism that was going on - twas disgusting.

Not a word. Nothing. No clue what-so-ever.

Remember Foots, Wurzel is from Bristol, you probably wouldn't understand him either. I enjoyed the Scottish accents, shame we didn't hear more from the male though.
