Has anyone seen Teeside Tin Tin on You Tube?

It is one of the funniest things I have seen for ages!

BE WARNED- It is extremely rude in terms of language and not for the easily offended! But hilarious!!!

It's in the same league as the Glaswegian Dolmio adverts spoofs. They're quality. The difference is Tin-Tin is well dubbed.

Sorry,

I miss the West Country. Been living in Brighton for 6 years now!

Love Brighty too!

Really? I can't stand the place. Thankfully I've never had to live there.

Hove is where my brother in law used to live. I don't like it at all. I don't really know why, I just think it's too trendy, too expensive, too snobby and elitist. Although I know a couple of decent places to eat there.

Fair enough. Horses for courses.

I love it. There are loads of nice restaurants, loads of bars.
Hove lawns by the sea, great for kids.

I agree about the expense. House prices are similar to London.

But I genuinely haven't met any snobby people. At least no more than anywhere else!

My mum likes to spend the first Monday in December going to Brighton for the day to buy Christmas presents. I've not been to Brighton for a long time, it's far from my favourite British seaside town.

I don't mean snobby as in mean and posh, more kind of culturally snobbish - there is a real air of "we are the current trendy place to be" about it, which I don't like. I'm going to stop talking about it now though because it sounds like I'm having a go at you Alfie and I'm not, I know it isn't your fault I don't like Brighton and that area!

It is good for shopping.

North Laine especially. If you like little independent type shops.

Actually I think there is a bit of that.
I recently went to buy a baby buggy and someone commented it wasn't very Brighton, i.e. not trendy enough.
But there's plenty of lovely people too! You just have to side step the idiots!
